Well many of you may have seen that I was recently featured on the ArtHunter's blog.
I can't really express how incredibly exciting it was to see my little doodles receiving any kind of attention - but it didn't stop there! As a result of the article, many, many people got in touch to enquire about my work...SO many people in fact, that I've completely sold out of most of my hand drawn stock!
Now, if you thought I was excited about being featured and selling out my works - you can imagine my absolute thrill when to top off this wonderful week, a number of people got in touch to commission work! I practically ran out to the art store to buy supplies to get started!
So, although I've been quiet on the blog front since the article came out, I have been a busy, busy bee behind the scenes. Planning, drawing, painting and carving - below you can see one of the new pieces I've been working on. It is of a traditional Argentine country house in a little town called General La Madrid in Provincia de Buenos Aires. Its especially close to my heart as it is the town where my grandparents grew up and where my father was born - I cannot wait to print it up this weekend and see what it looks like!
In the meantime, thank you for all your support and lovely words! It has been a fantastic start to 2014! I think there are going to be some great adventures!
